Weather
This is the starting of River Cauvery and also considered as the origin of seven sacred rivers. The river passes through Kerala and Karnataka. It originates from Brahamagiri peek which has got approx. 1500mts height. We can get a beautiful view from the top of the peek.
The topical Kerala style temple is situated at the convergence of river Cauvery. As the three river meet here it is called the Triveni Sangam. By dipping ourselves into the water, it is said that all sins will be washed away. For this we have to get a prior permission from the temple.

Rajamala is a fascinating hill station snuggled in the western ghats of Kerala. This picturesque hill station is the natural habitat of the Nilgiri tahr. More than half of Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragas hylocres) - mountain goat' world population is living here. The number of Nilgiri Tahrs in this region is estimated to nearly 1350. This Rajamala which is a part of Eravikulam wild life sanctuary is an attempt to preserve this fast becoming extinct. This hill station is 13 Kilo Meters away from Munnar on Udumalpet Road.
